FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What time does the program start? When does it end?

The class begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Where on the campus does the summer school meet?

Class meets in The Nickerson Building, diagonally across from The Cape Cinema.

When will the performance take place?
The performance will take place at 2:30 on the final day of the session.

What should I pack for my child?
A bagged lunch, a snack for the late afternoon, and a writing utensil.

Does my student need sunscreen?
We recommend sunscreen. We usually go outside for short stretches of time around the campus.

What is your refund policy if my student’s summer plans change?
All classes are paid in full at the time of registration. If your student needs to withdraw from the course they must do so at least 8 weeks in advance at which point you will be refunded less a $50 cancellation charge.

What costume pieces will my student need for the final performance?
Specific costume information will be available after the show has been cast. However, all students will need a set of underclothes (i.e. tank top + shorts) that they can wear underneath their costume(s) so they can change easily in our studio. If your student wants to continue performing, investing in a pair of jazz shoes or character shoes will serve them well.

Whom should I contact if I have additional questions?
Please contact Emily Hammond, Executive Assistant. Her email is: emily@capeplayhouse.com
