Extraordinary Times

In this extraordinary time that we are all experiencing, your well-being is at the forefront of our thoughts and we hope that you, your family, and friends are remaining safe from this virus pandemic.

The Cape Playhouse staff is working remotely and we are still planning to bring forth a huge ray of sunshine with the 2020 summer season. However, we have adjusted our Spring Appeal plans as we are sensitive to the economic impact that this pandemic is creating in every sector of our lives.

We understand that so many donors, new and longstanding, may not be in a position to give, but for those who are, we appeal to you. If you could make an extraordinary gift of any amount, it will help us to reach our normally budgeted spring goal of $100K dollars.

Although our theatre is currently dark, we have numerous ongoing financial commitments to all the actors, directors, and creatives that we have contracted for the season. Although ticket revenue helps to support these costs, we rely on donations to ensure our famous building remains a vibrant and vital theatre and an indispensable part of Cape Cod’s  cultural landscape.

If you would like to make a general donation to help the theatre survive, we would be extraordinarily grateful.

From all of us at The Cape Playhouse, be well, be safe, and we will look forward to welcoming you on campus this summer.

The Cape Playhouse is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible.
