Marshall Brickman
'Book'

Cavett Show” (head writer/co-producer). He has published in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Playboy and other periodicals and was the 2006 recipient of the
Writers Guild of America’s Ian McClellan Hunter Lifetime Achievement Award. Jersey Boys, his first venture into musical theatre, won four Tonys including Best
Musical. The Addams Family, his second Broadway venture (with co-author Rick Elice), is currently playing on national and international tours. He lives in New York
City and hopes to die in his sleep, surrounded by his loved ones and their attorneys.

Rick Elice
'Book'

Rick co-wrote Jersey Boys (winner 2006 Tony Award, 2007 Grammy Award and 2009 Olivier Award for Best Musical) with Marshall Brickman. His
play, Peter and the Starcatcher, received nine 2012 Tony Award nominations (including two for Rick) and won five, more than any play of the season. It’s currently
playing in New York and on tour across North America. Also on Broadway, Elice wrote The Addams Family (with Marshall Brickman, music and lyrics by Andrew
Lippa), currently touring North America, with productions in Europe and South America. In 2014, the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego will present the world premiere
of his new musical, Dog and Pony (music and lyrics by Michael Patrick Walker). Rick is currently writing a musical for Disney Theatricals with Benj Pasek and Justin
Paul, based on the film Make Believe, and Super Fly (co-written with Seth Zvi Rosenfeld), directed and choreographed by modern dance legend, Bill T. Jones. Heartfelt
thanks to those whose work in the theatre makes him grateful for the day he was born: Sondheim, Stoppard, Bennett, Prince, Fosse, Robbins, Nichols, Tune, Nunn,
Laurents, Stone, Kushner, Taymor, Papp, Schumacher, Schneider, Coyne, Brickman, Timbers and Rees. Rick thinks about them a lot. He never thought about Jersey
much. He does now.

Bob Gaudio
'Composer'

Bob wrote his first hit, “Who Wears Short Shorts,” at 15, for the Royal Teens, and then went on to become a founding member of the Four
Seasons and the band’s principal songwriter. He also produced the hit “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers” for Neil Diamond and Barbra Streisand (Grammy nomination,
Record of the Year) as well as six albums for Diamond, including The Jazz Singer. Other producing credits include albums for Frank Sinatra, Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross,
Michael Jackson and the soundtrack for the film Little Shop of Horrors. Several songs co-written with Bob Crewe have been cover hits for such artists as the Tremeloes
(“Silence is Golden”), the Walker Brothers (“The Sun Ain’t Gonna Shine Anymore”) and Lauryn Hill (“Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”). With his wife, Judy Parker,
Gaudio produced and co-wrote the Who Loves You album for the Four Seasons and one of Billboard’s longest-charted singles (54 weeks), “Oh, What a Night.” A high
point in his career came in 1990 when, as a member of the original Four Seasons, Gaudio was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In 1995, he was inducted
into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, which hailed him as “a quintessential music-maker.” To this day, Bob Gaudio and Frankie Valli still maintain their partnership…on
a handshake.

Bob Crewe
Lyricist

“New York was pregnant in the fifties,” says Bob Crewe, “gestating with possibilities.” Crewe and music partner Frank Slay became
independent writer-producers when the category hadn’t yet been invented. In 1957 they wrote and produced “Silhouettes” for The Rays, which skyrocketed to #1.
Suddenly, producers in demand, they launched Freddie Cannon’s “Tallahassee Lassie” and Billy & Lillie’s “Lah Dee Da.” Crewe’s 1960’s unprecedented producing
success with The Four Seasons birthed a new sound, striking a major chord in American pop. “Sherry, “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man,” “Candy Girl,”
“Ronnie” – all smashes! When lead Frankie Valli demanded a solo turn, Crewe and Bob Gaudio wrote (and Crewe produced) ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You,” which
eventually became the century’s fifth most-played song. Crewe ran hot with artists from Vicki Carr, Oliver and Lesly Gore to Mitch Ryder, co-writing with Charles Fox
the soundtrack for Jane Fonda’s film, “Barbarella.” Then his own Bob Crewe Generation exploded with Music to Watch Girls By. In 1972 Bob was in L.A., where he
revived Frankie Valli with “My Eyes Adored You” by Crewe and Kenny Nolan. They also co-wrote Patti LaBelle’s “Lady Marmalade” (#1, July ’75), which was a hit
again on the soundtrack of Moulin Rouge (#1, June ’01)…David Ritz

Joyce Chittick
'Director'

Joyce is thrilled to return to The Cape Playhouse for a
4th season. Directed last year’s production of Grease and 2019’s A Chorus Line.
Originally from Maine, began her career while still in high school and went on to
perform in 11 Broadway shows and numerous off-Bway, regional and National tours,
including plays at The Public Theater, Lincoln Center and Manhattan
Theater Club. Joyce has remounted Beautiful: The Carole King Musical in Japan,
Australia and every incarnation of the U.S. national tours, along with maintaining
the Broadway company for the majority of its run. In 2020, she was asked to
return to Japan to remount their original production, via Zoom! She has directed
productions at Theatre Aspen, Tuacahn, Ivoryton Playhouse and Interlochen Center
for the Arts. Joyce has overseen the direction of many televised performances,
including America’s Got Talent, Dancing With the Stars, The View, GMA, and
A Capital 4th, starring Carole King. Many thanks to my co-director, Rick!

Rick Faugno
'Choreographer'

This is Rick’s 3rd time choreographing at the
Cape Playhouse. He and his wife Joyce also collaborated here on A Chorus Line
and Grease! Rick has choreographed musicals at Interlochen Center for the Arts,
as well as for dance competitions and dance companies. As a performer, he was
recently seen on TV in PBS’s “50th Anniversary of Great Performances concert”.
His 7th Broadway show, Roundabout’s Kiss Me Kate, earned him a Chita Rivera
Award nomination. He received a Fred Astaire Award for RTC’s On The 20th
Century and a Best Singer Award for the role of Frankie Valli, in the original
Las Vegas production of Jersey Boys. TV: “FBI”, “The Newsroom”, “The Following”,
“America’s Got Talent”, “Conan O’Brien”, etc. He won Best Performance at Orlando
Film Festival for the title role in Virgin Alexander. He also performs his one man
show on cruise ships and at various venues. Congrats and much love to director
and wife Joyce!

Luke Molloy
'Music Director'

Luke spent the last six months as music director
for Jersey Boys (dir. Des McAnuff) aboard the Norwegian Bliss. Regional credits
include Gypsy & Jersey Boys (Theatre Aspen); Once on This Island (SpeakEasy
Stage Company); and Songs for a New World (Seacoast Repertory Theatre).
Concerts with Tony Award winner Lillias White and Tony nominee Liz Callaway.
Luke is a frequent performer at Club Café in Boston’s South End and recently
made his 54 Below debut in New York City. He has worked as a collaborative
pianist at Berklee College of Music, The Boston Conservatory, Eastern Nazarene
College, and the College Light Opera Company. Education: Berklee College of
Music. Upcoming: Escape to Margaritaville at North Shore Music Theatre.

Sydney Manno
'Assistant Choreographer/Assistant to the Director'

Sydney recently graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy where she studied
musical theatre. At Interlochen, she choreographed a mainstage production of
The Penelopiad and had the opportunity to choreograph the elementary musical
production at Interlochen Arts Camp, where she met the directors, Rick and Joyce!
She was raised on a farm in rural Pennsylvania and fell in love with dance as a
means to express the joy of the nature surrounding her. She has kept that idea at
the forefront of her art ever since, passionately making theatre for environmental
change with a focus on choreography and arts & environmental education. She’s
very grateful to be a part of this production with people she’s looked up to for so
long. Other recent credits: Passage (Parallel 45 Theatre), For The Love of Money
(Steps on Broadway), Pippin (Interlochen Arts Academy), and “The Today Show”
starring Hugh Jackman.”

David L. Arsenault
'Scenic Designer'

As as designer and associate, David’s
work has been seen on Broadway, Off-Broadway, regionally, and internationally.
Regional credits include: Kennedy Center, Bay Street Theatre, Kitchen Theatre
Company, Geva Theatre, Hangar Theatre, Northern Stage, George Street
Playhouse, and Gulfshore Playhouse. Broadway (Associate) includes: The Color
Purple (Tony-winning revival and tour), Les Liaisons Dangereuses, and King
Charles III.

Kirk Bookman
'Lighting Designer'

Kirk has designed the lighting for countless
New York City and regional productions over the past four decades. His favorite
lighting design credits include: Lincoln Center’s 2011 production of Company
directed by Lonny Price and starring Neil Patrick Harris, Stephen Colbert and
Patti LuPone. For the incomparable Charles Busch: Shanghai Moon, The Divine
Sister, The Tribute Artist, Die Mommy Die, The Green Heart and the 2020 hit
production of The Confession of Lily Dare directed by Carl Andress. Broadway
credits include The Gin Game with Julie Harris and Charles Durning, and The
Sunshine Boys with Jack Klugman and Tony Randall. Internationally he has
designed the lighting for the Hungarian National, English National Ballet and the
Santiago Ballet Company all with Ivan Nagy.

Jacob Levitin
'Sound Designer'

Jacob has been living and breathing sound
and music for as long as he can remember. Selected credits include Islander,
Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish, and Dog Man, the Musical (off Broadway), Buddy
Holly Story (National tour), and multiple Broadway and touring shows as a music
technology specialist with Midiomatic LLC and KeyboardTEK. Jake’s very excited
to be back at Cape Playhouse! Some of his original music and visual work can be
