JEFF BROOKS (Saunders) created the role of the Bellhop in the original Broadway production of Lend Me a Tenor, for which he won an Outer Critics Circle Award. He has also appeared on Broadway as Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast, Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls, Spider Malloy in Nick and Nora, Pastey in Gypsy with Tyne Daly, Phil in Loose Ends with Kevin Kline and Mickey in A History of the American Film. Off-Broadway he has played the title role in The Foreigner, Aloysius in Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All, George Spelvin in The Actor's Nightmare, and multiple roles in Talk Radio, among others. He has just completed the world premier of Mrs. Packard, a new play by Emily Mann at the Kennedy Center and the McCarter Theatre in Princeton. Prior to that he played Clarence, the angel in A Wonderful Life at New Jersey's Papermill Playhouse; Films include "I.Q.", "The Secret of My Success", "The Lemon Sisters", "The Boys of Sunset Ridge", and the upcoming film "Tenderness" with Russell Crowe. His numerous television appearances include several "Law and Orders", both regular and SVU flavored. Mr. Brooks is married to actress Sherry Anderson and is the proud father of Sam, 14 and Henry, 8. JENNIFER CODY (Maggie) is so excited to finally perform at the Playhouse. She has been to Northshore, Ogunquit, Maine State but hasn't been to Dennis. On Broadway (and off): The Pajama Game (Poopsie), Urinetown (Little Becky), Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party (Mae), Taboo (Pinkytessa), Seussical the Musical (Cat Helper), Beauty and the Beast (Silly Girl), Grease (Cha Cha DeGregorio), Cats (Rumpleteazer), Best Foot Forward (Blind Date) and Anyone Can Whistle (Baby Joan). She has toured the country with Gypsy (Dainty June), Grease (Cha Cha), Hello Dolly (Minnie Fay) and Cats. She has been on tons of cast albums and will next be lending her voice to the lead character of Charlotte in the new Disney animated movie, "The Princess and the Frog". HUNTER FOSTER (Max) most recently starred on Broadway as Leo Bloom in The Producers. He received the 2004 Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critic Circle Award nominations for Best Actor in a Musical for playing Seymour in the Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors. Mr. Foster also originated the role of Bobby Strong on Broadway in Urinetown (Outer Critics Circle nomination). His other Broadway credits include Grease, Footloose, Les Miserables, and King David. Off-Broadway: Modern Orthodox, Urinetown (Lucie Lortel nomination). Regional: Mister Roberts (Kennedy Center), Party Come Here (Williamstown) and Children of Eden (Papermill), The Full Monty (Ogunquit playhouse). National Tours: Cats, Martin Guerre and The Producers. Wrote the book to the musicals Summer of ’42 and Bonnie and Clyde. Graduate of the University of Michigan. Married to my lovely co-star, Jennifer Cody. LEAH HOCKING (Diana) Broadway: Mamma Mia! (Donna Sheridan), Hairspray (Velma Von Tussle), All Shook Up (Miss Sandra), Dance of the Vampires (Magda), The Wild Party (Mae), Jekyll and Hyde (Lucy), Grease (Marty), Guys and Dolls (Sarah Brown). Off Broadway includes: The Thing About Men (Lucy), Forbidden Broadway (Female #2). She made her New York City Opera debut in 2006 as Cleo in The Most Happy Fella. Regional includes: The Molly Maguires at the Kirby Center, Into The Woods at the Ordway, The Road to Hollywood at Goodspeed at Chester, Kiss Me Kate at the Goodspeed Opera House, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Anything Goes and The Secret Garden at Sacramento Music Circus, Oklahoma at the MUNY, Brigadoon at the Papermill Playhouse, All in the Timing at the Delaware Theatre Company. Leah is a principal artist with Broadway Pops International, performing with symphonies across the country. VIRGINIA SEIDEL (Julia) has appeared in many stage productions since debuting as a toy soldier in George Balanchine's Nutcracker. As Elsie Darling in Jerome Kern's Very Good Eddie produced by David Merrick she received Tony and Drama Desk nominations and a Theater World Award. At the Metropolitan Opera she was Ida in Die Fledermaus for several seasons opposite Dom DeLuise and Wolfgang Brendel. Recently she played Mrs. Sowerberry and Mrs. Bedwin in Oliver (Fulton Theatre), Aunt Sue in No, No, Nanette (Shenandoah Musicals), Mrs. Merkel in Bye Bye Birdie (Westchester Broadway Theatre), and sang in a concert version of The Golden Apple with the American Symphony Orchestra conducted by Jonathan Tunick at Bard College. She looks forward to enjoying the Cape's great sites, cuisine, and thrift shops. In NYC Ms. Hunt was nominated for the 2004 Drama Desk Award for outstanding director of a musical for The Musical Of Musicals (The Musical) which played for two years at the York and Dodger Spaces. Her production of Carnival won the 1993 Outer Critics Circle Award for best revival. Pam has directed numerous regional theater productions for Actors Theatre of Louisville, ACT, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, American Stage Festival, Asolo Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse, Cleveland Playhouse, Coconut Grove Playhouse, Colony Theatre, Florida Studio Theatre, Florida Rep, Laguna Playhouse, Milwaukee Rep., Ordway Theatre, Papermill Playhouse, Pioneer Theatre, The Prince Theatre, Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, San Jose Rep, and Theatre Virginia. JOSE M. RIVERA (Costume Designer) returns to the Cape Playhouse for a 6th season after designing our hit productions of: Guys and Dolls; No No Nanette; On Your Toes; I Do! I Do!; Anything Goes; Swingtime Canteen and My One And Only. Originally from New York and currently residing in Los Angeles, this past winter found him designing the Los Angeles productions of Hello Dolly! and Don Giovanni; and The National Tour of Urban Cowboy for Windwood Theatricals. He has designed, assisted and coordinated on over 200 productions for theatre, film and television. CHRISTOPHER S. CHAMBERS (Lighting Designer) comes to the playhouse having completed his sixth season as resident lighting designer for American Repertory Ballet. Other recent credits include: Oliver! (Curtain Call Inc.), Beauty and the Beast, Dialogues and Exorcising Man (American Repertory Ballet), Candide (Boston College). Other Credits: Dramatics NYC, Gallery Players, Choate Rosemary Hall, Manchester Ballet, Ram Island Dance, Dance Connecticut, Connecticut Repertory Theatre, Mount Washington Valley Theatre Company and Boehm Opera. Chris holds a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Connecticut.
