HELEN POND AND HERBERT SENN SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship award is given to a deserving student by the Raymond Moore Foundation and the Cape Playhouse,

in honor of the creative contributions of the design team of Helen Pond and Herbert Senn, whose collaboration

spanned more than fifty years and enriched the theatre arts in all its forms, and to further recognize their

outstanding work in the field of scenic design at the Cape Playhouse for thirty-eight summer season.

Said scholarship award shall be in the amount of $1,000 to be awarded annually to a student who is pursuing

higher education in the field of Scenic Design or other backstage art.  Such award shall be applied directly

to the tuition of the student and shall be presented to the student during a public ceremony or similar situation.

Preference may be given to a resident of Cape Cod or to persons who have been associated with the Cape Playhouse.

The scholarship application, two (2) references and the official academic transcripts of previous college work

should be mailed to:

Applications will be accepted between January 1 and February 28.  Award will be announced April 1.
