This scholarship award is given to a deserving student by the CCCArts and the Cape Playhouse, in honor of the creative contributions of the design team of Helen Pond and Herbert Senn, whose collaboration spanned more than fifty years and enriched the theatre arts in all its forms, and to further recognize their outstanding work in the field of scenic design at the Cape Playhouse for thirty-eight summer seasons.

Said scholarship award may be awarded annually to a student who is pursuing higher education in the Arts, including the field of Scenic Design or other backstage art. 

Such award shall be applied directly to the tuition of the student who is a resident of Cape Cod and shall be presented to the student during a public ceremony or similar situation.  Preference may be given to persons who have been associated with the CCCArts ~ Cape Playhouse.

Applications will be accepted between January 1 and February 28.  Award will be announced by April 1.
