TERRY BURRELL (Muzzy Van Hossmere) Broadway starring roles in Three Penny Opera, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Dreamgirls, Into The Woods, Swingin' On A Star, Honky Tonk Nights and Eubie. Off-Broadway, Terry appeared in Almost Heaven, And The World Goes Round, Just So and Taking A Chance On Love. She also toured the US as Julie in the Hal Prince production of Showboat and reprised the role in the London revival. Other tours include Copacabana, Thunder Knocking On The Door, A Grand Night For Singing, The Wiz and Bubblin' Brown Sugar. Terry was nominated for a Helen Hayes award as best actress in a musical for her portrayal of Queenie in Queenie Pie at the Kennedy Center. Other regional credits include Cinderella, Jar The Floor, A Christmas Carol, Time and Again, Of Thee I Sing, Sweet and Hot, Man of LaMancha, Arthur Miller's Up From Paradise and Ain't Misbehavin'. She recently performed at the Oslo Jazz Festival in a tribute to Billie Holiday, and can be seen in the fall in the up coming Women of Brewster Place.
BILLY BUSTAMANTE (Bun Foo) is so happy to be making his Cape Playhouse debut. Other credits include Cabaret at Arena Stage, Pacific Overtures (Lion Dancer) at North Shore, Anyone Can Whistle (George) at Prince Music Theatre, West Side Story and Finian's Rainbow at the Walnut St. Theatre, Making Tracks at San Jose Rep, Eng in the world premiere of Chang & Eng, and Big Daddy in Sweet Charity at the Media Theatre. ANDREA CHAMBERLAIN (Millie Dillmount) is thrilled to be back at the Cape Playhouse where she appeared in My One and Only (Mickey). Other credits include: Broadway: The Drowsy Chaperone (u/s Janet/Kitty), Little Me (Ramona) at The Roundabout Theatre Company; Opening Doors at Carnegie Hall. Off Broadway: I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change (Woman 1); Reefer Madness. Nat’l Tours: The Boy Friend (Maisie) directed by Julie Andrews. Some Regional: At Goodspeed Opera House: Dames at Sea (Ruby) and No, No, Nanette (Nanette) and The Boy Friend (Maisie); Annie (Lily St Regis) in a joint production between Casa Manana and Kansas City Starlight; Beehive at The Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas and with Theater Under The Stars. The Boy Friend (Maisie) at Bay Street Theater. She also has performed Woman #1 in I Love You, You're Perfect... at The Old Town Theatre in San Diego, The Laguna Playhouse & in Florida. Andrea received Drama-Logue awards for her portrayal of Dot in Sunday in the Park with George and Petra in A Little Night Music. Other awards include a Carbonnell for the role of “female critic” in Men at The Broward Center For The Performing Arts and numerous awards for her portrayal of Ruby in Dames at Sea at The Marines Memorial Theatre in San Francisco.
ALLISON COUTURE (Ensemble) is a Massachusetts native and could not be more excited to be making her Cape Playhouse debut! She is also thrilled to be sharing the stage with her boyfriend, Nathan. Recent credits include Patty Simcox in Grease (Westchester Broadway Theatre), Ruth in A Wonderful Life (Paper Mill Playhouse), Connie Miller in 1940's Radio Hour (Arvada Center), and Call Me Madam (Goodspeed Opera House). Last year, Allie spent 8 months at sea performing on the Disney Magic. Thanks to Evans! Love to my family, and of course, Munk!
LINDI DUESENBERG (Ensemble) is thrilled to be making her Cape Playhouse debut with Thoroughly Modern Millie. This is Lindi's second production of Millie as she played "Alice" in the national tour. Other favorite shows include: Grease, Rocky Horror Show, Anything Goes, Me and My Girl, Kiss Me Kate and Sweet Charity. JESSICA GREELEY (Ensemble) is so excited to be making her Cape Playhouse debut in Thoroughly Modern Millie. Originally from Maine, she is a graduate from the University of Miami in FL. Favorite credits include Peggy Sawyer in 42nd St., Gertie in the 1st Nat'l of Oklahoma, Rosalie in West Side Story and Silly Girl #1 in Beauty and the Beast. She sends all her love to her family and Colin!
Area native, understudied the role of Phil Davis (Danny Kaye role) in the World Premiere of Irving Berlin's White Christmas in 2004. Other Credits include: West Coast Premiere of Memphis (Theatreworks), Gypsy (American Musical Theatre of San Jose), Too Many Girls (42nd Street Moon). Favorite regional credits include A Little Night Music (Anne) and West Side Story (Maria) at Sacramento Music Circus, Urinetown (Hope) at the Geva, Barnum (Jenny Lind) at Westchester Broadway, Man of LaMancha (Antonia) at the Fireside, and The Fantasticks (Luisa) at the Festival at Roanoke. Tours include the European and Asian tours of West Side Story (Maria) and the First National of The Music Man (Marian), where she met and played opposite her amazing husband, Gerritt. CHERYL STERN (Mrs. Meers) has recently returned from Denver where she created the role of Maryanne in the world premiere of Hats!, the Red Hat Society musical. Off Broadway: First Lady Suite (Mamie), Requiem for William (Transport Group), I Love You, You’re Perfect, Game Show, That’s Life! The Immigrant. Cheryl is a graduate of Northwestern University. BRIAN SUTHERLAND (Mr. Trevor Graydon) has appeared on Broadway in roles such as Captain Von Trapp in The Sound of Music, Thomas Jefferson in 1776, King Marchan in Victor/Victoria, and Munkustrap in Cats. Other Broadway credits include Steel Pier, A Change in the Heir, and Dance a Little Closer (written and directed by Alan Jay Lerner). He played Starbuck in 110 in the Shade at NYC Opera, and he was featured at Carnegie Hall opposite Ann Reinking in One More Song, One More Dance. His extensive touring experience includes Disney’s On the Record, Clifford Bradshaw in Cabaret with Joel Grey, Julian Marsh in 42nd Street and Roy Johnson in The Light in the Piazza. Some of his favorite regional theatre roles include Charlie Anderson in Shenandoah at the Fords Theatre, Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha at the Pittsburgh Public, The Pirate King in Pirates of Penzance at the Guthrie Theatre, the Actor in Enter the Guardsman at Indiana Repertory Theatre, and Kodaly in She Loves Me at the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis. He was Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls opposite Maurice Hines at the Arena Stage- this production later enjoyed a successful national tour, and was also notable for the fact that Sarah Brown was played by his wife (and frequent co-star) Diane Sutherland. They have also sung many concerts with orchestras worldwide, and they reside in Greenwich Village, New York City. Mr. Sutherland holds a degree in Musical Theatre from the University of New Hampshire.
