BRAD BELLAMY (Major Ambrose Powell) has previously performed at the Cape Playhouse in Thumbs, Inherit the Wind,

and last season’s Beard of Avon. Currently on the members’ council of the Ensemble Studio Theatre and formerly an artist in

residence at Manhattan Punch Line, Brad is a veteran of New York’s Off-Broadway scene. He most recently appeared at the

Dallas Theatre Center in Moonlight and Magnolias. Other regional credits include Actors Theatre of Louisville, Atlanta’s Alliance,

Cleveland Play House, Denver Center, Long Wharf, and Studio Arena to name just a few. Film appearances include "Ira and

Abby", "The Spring in Her Step", "Character Assassins" and "The Adventures of Arthur Conan Doyle". On television he has been

the special musical guest on "ABC’s On the Edge", with Rodney Dangerfield in "It’s Not Easy Being Me", "Law & Order SVU",

"Conviction", various soaps, and in commercials for AARP, Snickers, Sprint, Nabisco, and many many others.

 

BRENT HARRIS (Evelyn Farrant/Rupert Farrant) was seen last summer at the Cape Playhouse as Edward de Vere in

The Beard of Avon. He recently played Laurence Olivier in Orson’s Shadow at the Philadelphia Theatre Company. Other theatre

credits include three years as a company member at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (Present Laughter, Much Ado About Nothing,

Love’s Labor’s Lost, Dr. Faustus, Richard II). Regionally he has also played at the Denver Center Theatre Company (Amadeus and

Measure for Measure), the Shakespeare Theatre Company, D.C. (The Winter’s Tale), Seattle Rep (A Midsummer Night’s Dream),

Actor’s Theatre of Louisville (Heartbreak House), Syracuse Stage (Macbeth, Dracula and A Few Good Men), Virginia Stage

Company (Othello) and many others. New York productions include Tryst at the Promenade Theatre, Richard III at the Pearl,

and Long Island Sound at the Actor’s Company Theatre. On television he has appeared in "Guiding Light" and "Out of the Box".

 

SUZANNA HAY (Mrs. McGee) Broadway: Dance of Death with Sir Ian McKellan and David Strathairn; A Month in the Country

with Helen Mirren; Whose Life is it Anyway with Mary Tyler Moore. Film & TV: "Three Windows"; "The Dissection of Thanksgiving";

"Law & Order: Criminal Intent"; "Kidnapped"; "Guiding Light"; "As the World Turns". Off-Broadway: Fool for Love directed by Sam

Shephard; Flight; A Case of You. Regional Theatre: Dearly Departed (Dramalogue Award); To Kill a Mockingbird (Carbonell Award

Nomination); Macbeth and Crimes of the Heart among many others including over 25 productions with the Actors Theatre of

Louisville. Suzanna is a graduate of Lamda and married to the actor Brad Bellamy.

MICHAEL ROSSMY (Inspector Hawkins, Associate Fight Director) is excited to make his Cape Playhouse debut. He joins the

company straight from the very successful Goodspeed Opera House and Papermill Playhouse productions of the new Pirates of

Penzance.  Other credits include: Cyrano de Bergerac, Into The Woods, A Funny Thingthe Forum, Macbeth, Richard II, King

John, A Midsummer…Dream, and As You Like It. Television and Movies include: "Angels in America", "The Guiding Light",

and "Law & Order: SVU".

 

RUSSELL TREYZ (Director) Previous Cape Playhouse: The Lion in Winter, The Cocktail Party, The Best Man, The Tale

of the Allergist Wife, Da., Inherit the Wind, The Mystery of Irma Vep, Around the World in 80 Days and Beard of Avon.  Off

Broadway in New York: George Kelly’s Daisy Mayme (The Pearl Theatre), Much Ado About Nothing (West End Theatre

Company). Recent regional directing credits: The Tempest (Shakespeare Festival of St Louis), A Midsummer Night’s Dream,

King John, The Pirates of Penzance, and A Servant of Two Masters (Utah Shakespearean Festival), Cyrano de Bergerac, and

Trapezium, a new play by NY Times puzzle writer Henry Rathvon (Orlando Shakespeare Festival), Taming of the Shrew

(Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival), Tuna Christmas (Actors Theatre of Louisville), White Christmas and The Odd Couple

(Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, Hilton Head, SC), and Measure for Pleasure (Florida Studio Theater). As author/director,

he collaborated with songwriter, Harry Chapin on the Broadway musical, Cottonpatch Gospel. Other NYC directorial credits

include: American Place Theater, Playwrights Horizons, and La Mama ETC. Regional credits include: Goodspeed Opera, and

Alabama Shakespeare Festival. A graduate of Princeton University and Yale School of Drama, he received a Drama Desk award.

 

RICHARD CHAMBERS (Set Designer) has designed scenery throughout the Northeast for companies such as The Pittsburgh

Public Theatre, StageWest, North Shore Music Theatre, Merrimack Repertory Theatre, The American Stage Festival, the Cape

Playhouse and Shakespeare and Company, as well as the Buffalo Philharmonic, The Portland Symphony and the Virginia Symphony.

He has designed premiers by playwrights such as Derek Walcott, Russ Lees and Kate Snodgrass. He has also designed the

Off-Broadway premiers of Ronan Noone’s plays The Lepers of Baile Baiste, The Blowin of Baile Gall and The Atheist. Richard

holds an MFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where he studied with Oliver Smith and John Conklin,

where he was the recipient of the Meir Award for design. For many years he assisted Herbert Senn and Helen Pond on a variety

of projects. He is the recipient of two Elliot Norton Awards and three Independent Reviewers of New England Awards, is a member

of United Scenic Artists local 829, has been a professor of scene design at New York University, Ithaca College and Boston University

LISA ZINNI (Costume Designer) Around the World in 80 Days (Cape Playhouse and Syracuse Stage) 9 Seasons at The

Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival including Amadeus, Mystery of Irma Vep, My Fair Lady, Hamlet, Midsummer, All’s

Well, Imaginary Invalid, Man of La Mancha, Comedy of Errors, Moon for the Misbegotten and Charley Aunt.  King Lear

(Orlando Shakespeare Festival), and The Emerald Man for The NY Musical Theatre Festival. Hamlet, Tete e Tete, A Little

Night Music, Smokey Joes Café, The Dresser and Evita (Bristol Riverside Theatre). Lisa just celebrated 11 years with the

Broadway company of Rent, where she serves as the Associate Costume Designer. She is also responsible for the national tours

and international companies of Rent, and has had the opportunity to do the show in Canada, England, Italy and China.

CHRISTOPHER S. CHAMBERS (Lighting Designer) comes to the playhouse having completed his sixth season as resident

lighting designer for American Repertory Ballet. Other recent credits include: Oliver! (Curtain Call Inc.), Beauty and the Beast,

Dialogues and Exorcising Man (American Repertory Ballet), Candide (Boston College). Other Credits: Dramatics NYC, Gallery

Players, Choate Rosemary Hall, Manchester Ballet, Ram Island Dance, Dance Connecticut, Connecticut Repertory Theatre,

Mount Washington Valley Theatre Company and Boehm Opera. Chris holds a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Connecticut.
