DANIELLE CHAMBERS is thrilled to be making her Cape Playhouse debut. She has had the honor of performing in the 1st National Tour

of Titanic (MME. Aubert), Ogunquit Playhouse’s production of Cinderella (Grace), Houston TUTS’ production of Into The Woods (Lucinda),

and Arkansas Rep’s production of Once On This Island (Andrea). Mrs. Chambers is also a proud member of Broadway Inspirational Voices.

Much love to Mom, Dad, and Justice. Keith…I love you, baby, river deep, mountain high.

MARK MARTINO (Director/Choreographer) is an actor, director, and choreographer for theatre, film, television, and opera. Mark is thrilled

to return for a third season at the beautiful Cape Playhouse, having previously directed No No Nanette, Guys And Dolls, and provided both

direction and choreography for Pete 'n' Keely. When he's not "summering" on stunning Cape Cod, Mark is busy directing and choreographing

at leading regional theatres around the country. Among them: Actor's Theatre of Louisville (Beehive), The Cleveland Playhouse and Cincinnati

Playhouse in the Park (Plaid Tidings), Connecticut's Tri-Arts Playhouse (Hello Dolly and Forever Plaid), Maine's Arundel Barn Playhouse (Pete 'n' Keely),

The Music Theatre of Louisville (West Side Story and Hello Dolly), The Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera (My Fair Lady, Paint Your Wagon),

Indiana's Wagon Wheel Playhouse (Oklahoma!, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum), New York City's Steinbach Theatre

at NYU (A Chorus Line). Mark spent two seasons as a director/choreographer in residence at the renowned Chautauqua Arts Festival at New

York's Chautauqua Institution. While there Mark conceived/directed/and choreographed the world premiers of his original musical reviews:

Songs For A Summer Hotel: The Rogers and Hart Songbook and It Only Takes A Moment: The words and music of Jerry Herman. On the

nation's opera and concert stages Mark's choreography has been seen in Mobile Opera's 2005 production of Showboat, Verdi's Macbeth for

Chautauqua Opera, Man Of La Mancha for Portland Opera and Orlando Opera, and under the musical direction of conductor Jack Everly,

the choreography for Those Glorious MGM Musicals which has been on the pops schedule of most of the major symphony orchestras in North

America including the Pittsburgh, St. Louis, Milwaukee, Toronto, Indianapolis, Baltimore, Detroit, Ottawa's Canadian National Symphony,

and our own National Symphony at Washington, D.C.'s Kennedy Center. For film and TV Mark's work has been seen on NBC's "Miss America

Pageant", the feature film "Rock-n-Roll Hotel", and as director/choreographer of the nationally syndicated PBS Christmas special, "The U.S.

Chorus in Count Your Blessings". In the world of "business theatre" Mark has directed and choreographed industrial shows for clients ranging

from cars (Oldsmobile) and money (Merrill Lynch), to hamburgers (McDonalds) and ladies lingerie (the BIFA spring fashion show).

Mark wishes to thank Evans Haile and the tremendous staff and crew at the Cape Playhouse for the opportunity to work with such a

talented and dedicated group of theatre artists. Their tireless efforts, unflagging energy, and unwavering commitment to present

the highest quality theatre to its audience make a director's work a true joy.

 

TOM FREY (Musical Director) is delighted to return to the Cape Playhouse as musical director, having directed 2 Pianos 4 Hands for the

opening of this summer season. Tom has been deeply involved with 2 Pianos 4 Hands, having performed the role of Ted opposite Richard Carsey

at Actors Theatre of Louisville (KY), Hartford Stage (CT), Laguna Playhouse (Laguna Beach, CA), Dallas Theater Center, Globe Theatre

(Regina, SK, Canada), and the Filmore Festival (Kalamazoo, MI). Before playing the role of Ted, Tom performed the role of Richard over 250 times

in 10 different productions across the United States and Canada at such theatres as Geva Theatre Center (Rochester, NY), Studio Arena (Buffalo, NY),

The Ordway (St. Paul, MN), Thousand Island Playhouse (Canada), and the Hippodrome Theatre (Gainesville, FL). Other credits include multiple roles

in Claudia Shear’s Dirty Blonde, at the Cleveland Playhouse and the Pittsburgh Public Theater, where he served as musical director; Lord Evelyn

Oakleigh in Anything Goes at the Skylight Opera Theatre in Milwaukee; Billy Bishop in Billy Bishop Goes to War; Guildenstern in Rosencrantz and

Guildenstern Are Dead; Fred in A Christmas Carol; and Weissman in The Puppetmaster of Lodz. Tom studied piano at Western Michigan University

and graduated from the North Carolina School of the Arts Professional Actor Training.

 

RICHARD CHAMBERS (Set Designer) has designed scenery throughout the Northeast for companies such as The Pittsburgh Public Theatre, StageWest,

North Shore Music Theatre, Merrimack Repertory Theatre, The American Stage Festival, the Cape Playhouse and Shakespeare and Company, as well

as the Buffalo Philharmonic, The Portland Symphony and the Virginia Symphony. He has designed premiers by playwrights such as Derek Walcott,

Russ Lees and Kate Snodgrass. He has also designed the Off-Broadway premiers of Ronan Noone’s plays The Lepers of Baile Baiste, The Blowin of

Baile Gall and The Atheist. Richard holds an MFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where he studied with Oliver Smith and

John Conklin, where he was the recipient of the Meir Award for design. For many years he assisted Herbert Senn and Helen Pond on a variety of projects.

He is the recipient of two Elliot Norton Awards and three Independent Reviewers of New England Awards, is a member of United Scenic Artists local 829,

has been a professor of scene design at New York University, Ithaca College and Boston University and currently teaches at Suffolk University. You can

JOSE M. RIVERA (Costume Designer) returns to the Cape Playhouse for a 6th season after designing our hit productions of: Guys and Dolls;

No No Nanette; On Your Toes; I Do! I Do!; Anything Goes; Swingtime Canteen and My One And Only. Originally from New York and currently

residing in Los Angeles, this past winter found him designing the Los Angeles productions of Hello Dolly!  and Don Giovanni; and The National

Tour of Urban Cowboy for Windwood Theatricals. He has designed, assisted and coordinated on over 200 productions for theatre, film and television.

CHRISTOPHER S. CHAMBERS (Lighting Designer) comes to the playhouse having completed his sixth season as resident lighting designer for American

Repertory Ballet. Other recent credits include: Oliver! (Curtain Call Inc.), Beauty and the Beast, Dialogues and Exorcising Man (American Repertory Ballet),

Candide (Boston College). Other Credits: Dramatics NYC, Gallery Players, Choate Rosemary Hall, Manchester Ballet, Ram Island Dance, Dance Connecticut,

CT Repertory Theatre, Mount Washington Valley Theatre Company and Boehm Opera. Chris holds a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Connecticut.
