BOOKING TICKETS

HOW DO I PURCHASE TICKETS?
For safety and convenience, we kindly request that all purchases be made online.

WILL MY TICKETS BE MAILED OUT TO ME?
We kindly request that you print your tickets at home or display proof of purchase on your phone when you arrive. We will not be mailing tickets this season.

CAN I RESERVE SEATS?
No, all seating will be on the open lawn or in bleachers. Space will be available on a first come first served basis. If you choose to sit on the lawn, we recommend that you bring a low back beach chair or a blanket. We welcome you to come early to settle in and enjoy a picnic before the show.

RAIN POLICY

WILL YOU CANCEL A SHOW DUE TO BAD WEATHER?
We will never cancel a performance before the advertised start time. This is because you would be amazed how often it can rain all day and then clear up just in time for the action to start and indeed, how localized bad weather can be on the Cape. If a show is cancelled on account of the weather, we will announce this at the venue on the night of the show.

HOW DO I REDEEM MY RAIN CHECK?
In the case of a cancelled performance, rain checks may be redeemed as early as the following day. Rain checks also may be donated back to The Cape Playhouse and a receipt reflecting the rain check value will be issued for tax purposes.

For rain check holders who wish to redeem their tickets for another show in 2021, your requests must be completed either in person at the Box Office*, or by emailing Tickets@CapePlayhouse.com – clearly indicating the date you would like to rebook a performance. All other non-urgent requests may also be emailed or sent by post to:

The Cape Playhouse | P.O. Box 2001 | Dennis MA 02638.

* Box Office Hours for rain check transactions will be limited during the summer. Days and hours will be posted following a cancellation.

WILL YOU DELAY A PERFORMANCE FOR RAIN?
The start time may be delayed or the performance may be interrupted due to inclement weather or other reasons. If a performance cannot complete at least one hour of playing time during the evening, the show will be considered cancelled and your ticket will serve as your rain check. The value of your rain check may be redeemed toward a single ticket for any production within one year of your ticket date. Refunds will not be issued.

If a performance continues after a delayed start or resumes after an interruption, rain checks will not be issued and tickets may not be exchanged for another performance or refunded.

We will make every effort to present the performance, and typically will not cancel the performance before 8:00 pm. A delayed start time or the length of an interruption in the performance will be determined by theatre management on a per case basis.

CAN I BRING AN UMBRELLA?
Yes, but please refrain from using an umbrella during the performance.
