KELLY FELTHOUS (Elle Woods) is excited to step back into some Pink high heels having previously played Elle in Legally Blonde at NSMT and Westchester Broadway Theatre. Kelly just returned from playing Val in A Chorus Line at Maine State Music Theater and recently originated the role of Eva in the world premiere of Bring it On. JOHN SCHERER (Professor Callahan) has appeared on Broadway in Lovemusik (directed by the legendary Harold Prince), Andrew Lloyd Webber's By Jeeves (directed by Sir Alan Ayckbourn), Sunset Boulevard, The Most Happy Fella (NYC Opera) and the Actors Fund benefit of Funny Girl. He recreated his role as Bertie Wooster in the film version of “By Jeeves”. He was also in the original cast of Harold Prince's 3HREE at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles. Off Broadway credits include Olympus on my Mind, Dames at Sea, Preppies and June B. Jones. Other New York credits include Out of this World at City Center, NYC Opera's Cinderella and A Tribute to Comden and Green at Carnegie Hall. He has toured nationally in 42nd Street, Cats, Mame, and Hello Dolly. He won critical acclaim and the Connecticut Circle Critics Award for his performance as George M at the Goodspeed Opera House. He has appeared in leading roles in regional theaters across the country. On television he has appeared on “Crossing Jordan”, “The Shield”, “Law and Order” (all three series), “Titus” and “Guiding Light”. He is thrilled to return to the Cape Playhouse where he has appeared in Unnecessary Farce, Boeing Boeing, Moon Over Buffalo, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The World Goes Round, My One and Only, 42nd Street, and Dames at Sea.
KIRSTEN WYATT (Paulette Buonofuonte) is happy to be making her Cape Playhouse debut! Most recently, Kirsten portrayed Agnes Gooch in the Goodspeed Opera House’s production of Mame for which she won a Connecticut Critics Circle Award. On Broadway she has been seen in Elf, Shrek, Grease (Frenchy, 2007 revival), High Fidelity (Anna), The Pajama Game (Poopsie), Urinetown (Little Becky Two Shoes), and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, (Lucy/Sally standby). TV credits include “Naked Brothers Band,” “ATWT,” “AMC.” Love to Sean, her awesome husband.
FRANKIE (Bruiser) Frankie was rescued by his guardian/trainer William Berloni in 2008 from the Meriden Humane Society in Meriden, CT for the National touring company of Legally Blonde. He has been touring for the last four years in the starring role of “Bruiser”. Frankie holds the records for doing more performances of Legally Blonde than any human or canine actor. He is an example of how rescue dogs can be stars.
CHLOE (Rufus) Chloe was adopted from Bulldogs Rescue of Connecticut in 2006, by her trainer/guardian William Berloni. She originated the role of “Rufus” on Broadway Legally Blonde. Chloe holds the record of being the only actor to have never missed a performance in the Broadway run. She tries to educate people that Bulldogs need lots of care and may not be right for everybody.
GWEN HOLLANDER (Margot) is happy to be back at the Cape Playhouse after appearing as Rusty in last summer's production of Footloose (followed by its remounting at North Shore Music Theatre). Some favorite credits include: Broadway/Tour of Little Women (Amy, Carbonell Award), National Tour of 101 Dalmatians, directed by Jerry Zaks (Perdita), Les Miserables (Eponine, Carbonell Award), Avenue Q (Kate Monster/Lucy T. Slut), 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Olive), Legally Blonde (Margot), Urinetown (Hope), Great American Trailer Park Musical (Pickles), Beauty and the Beast (Belle), the premiere of See Rock City and Other Destinations at Barrington Stage, and a recent reading of the Broadway bound new musical Ever After, directed by Kathleen Marshall. TV/Web: “From Earth to the Moon” (Tom Hanks, HBO), Nickelodeon’s “The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo,” and the webseries “Acting School Academy.”
ELISE KINNON (Brooke Wyndham) is thrilled to have her Cape Playhouse debut in Legally Blonde. Most recent credits include: Anytime Annie in 42nd Street. CHELSEA LOVETT (Serena) is totes excited to be working at the Cape Playhouse! O.M.G. ! DAVID PERLOW (Warner Huntington III) is thrilled to be on beautiful Cape Cod, making his Cape Playhouse debut. Broadway: La Cage Aux Folles (2010). MARISSA ROSEN (Enid Hoopes) Marissa is thrilled to be returning to the Cape! Last summer she was seen as Wendy Jo in Footloose. NICO RAMIREZ (Padamadan/Carlos) is so honored to make his Cape Playhouse debut. Nico is a San Diego native who has now survived a year in the big city, NY. Nico was most recently seen in Joseph at the Maltz Jupiter Theater, FL. He performed in over fifty musicals since he began his career as a youngster. In previous seasons Cape audiences have seen Mark’s productions of No No, Nanette, Guys and Dolls, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Beehive, Leader of the Pack, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Forever Plaid, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Plaid Tidings, Hairspray, and last season's explosions of dance and romance, Footloose, and Crazy for You. When not spending some quality summer time on gorgeous Cape Cod, Mark can be found working at many of the nation’s leading theatres. Among them: Theatre Aspen in Aspen, CO (Little Shop of Horrors, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Avenue Q), Florida’s Maltz Jupiter Theatre (Beehive, The Boyfriend, La Cage Aux Folles, Crazy for You, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat), Boston’s North Shore Music Theatre (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, A Chorus Line), Music Theatre of Louisville (Hello Dolly, West Side Story), Maine’s Arundel Barn Playhouse (Pete ‘n Keely), The Cleveland Playhouse, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, and Detroit’s Gem Theatre (Plaid Tidings), and NYC’s Steinbach Theatre (A Chorus Line). SHEA SULLIVAN (Choreographer) was the longtime assistant and protégé to Tony-award winning choreographer Henry LeTang, working with him on the film Bojangles staring Gregory Hines. Recent credits include: Grease (Surflight), Ragtime (Lyric Theatre) Crazy For You (Maltz Jupiter), Easter Bonnet 2011 Opening Number (Minskoff Theatre), Fingers and Toes (Urban Stages), A Christmas Carol (Ford's Theatre), Dames at Sea (Bay Street Theatre), Pageant: The Musical (Stoneham Theatre), DanceBreak '08, and the feature films The Big Gay Musical and Go Go Crazy. ERIC ALSFORD (Musical Director) is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. He has played for the Off- Broadway production of That’s Life, Naked Boys Singing, and the national tour of Mamma Mia. Eric also recently musical directed/conducted the 25th Anniversary national tour of Nunsense with Sally Struthers and regularly musical directs the many incarnations of Nunsense with author/director Dan Goggin throughout the country. Regionally, he has musical directed for North Shore Music Theatre, Arkansas Rep, Ogunquit Playhouse, Drury Lane Theatre Chicago, Artpark, Mt. Gretna Theatre, Downtown Cabaret, and Solano Rep among others. Eric splits his time between NYC and South Florida. Throughout South Florida, he regularly musical directs for Actors Playhouse, Caldwell Theatre, Maltz Jupiter Theatre, Theatrezone, Broward Center and Arsht Center. He is the recipient of South Florida's Carbonell Award for best musical direction for productions of Floyd Collins, Aida, and Les Misérables all at Actors Playhouse in Miami, as well as Adding Machine at Gablestage. Eric is the author of several children’s musicals produced throughout Florida and the composer for the score to the independent film “Lost Everything.”
MICHAEL SCHWEIKARDT (Scenic Designer) designed the world premiere of the new Duncan Sheik/Kyle Jarrow musical Whisper House at San Diego’s Old Globe Theatre. He has created sets for several musicals by Joe Iconis, including Bloodsong of Love at Ars Nova, ReWrite at Urban Stages, The Black Suits at The Public Theater, The Plant That Ate Dirty Socks for TheatreworksUSA, and Things To Ruin at both The Zipper Factory and Second Stage Theatre. Recent credits include Jeffrey Hatcher’s Ella, appearing in cities all across the country; the critically acclaimed productions of Showboat, Annie Get Your Gun, 1776, Big River, and Camelot for Goodspeed Musicals; Barnum for Asolo Repertory Theatre’s 50th anniversary season; Oklahoma! starring Kelli O’Hara and Will Chase celebrating the Oklahoma State Centennial; the American premieres of Frank McGuinness’ Gates of Gold and The Bird Sanctuary; and national and international tours of James Taylor’s One Man Band. GAIL BALDONI (Costume Design) At the Cape, Noises Off, Don’t Dress For Dinner, Pete N Keely, Lend Me a Tenor, Regrets Only, Leader of the Pack and Moon Over Buffalo. NYC credits include My Fair Lady starring Kelsey Grammar at The New York Philharmonic, Wonderful Town at New York City Opera and an Emmy nomination for NBC’s Another World. Film work: Mermaids, starring Cher and The Boy in the Bathtub. Regional shows for Papermill Playhouse, Goodspeed Opera, North Shore Music Theatre, Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, The Boston Ballet and Westchester Broadway Theatre. Off-Broadway shows include Tall Grass, Home of the Brave, Cinderella, The Subject was Roses, Jolson & Co., A Majority of One, I Can Get It For You Wholesale, Rags, Milk and Honey, The Yiddish Trojan Woman, The Sphinx Winx and Shabbatai. Gail has been fortunate to design tours in Taiwan, Singapore, Portugal, Columbia and Switzerland. Other favorite projects include the Rockette’s Christmas Show, Disney on Ice and The Ringling Bros. Circus. Gail collaborated on the 30th Anniversary tour of Ain’t Misbehavin’ and currently has a Ain’t tour in Europe.
